This week in 1981, Ozzy Osbourne stumbled through Maine. The Blizzard Of Ozz tour stopped at the Cumberland County Civic Center on the 5th, and the following night in Bangor. Surprisingly, the Civic Center was only half full. Considering Ozzy was in career rebuild mode, and Def Leppard had not yet completely blown up, people were still rediscovering him. Ozzy would sell out the venue a few years later. (and bring Motley Crue for their first arena show) Back in '81, Rudy Sarzo and Tommy Aldridge joined the band for this North American leg. The two would later return to the CCCC in 1988 as part of Whitesnake. These shows also marked the final Maine performances for Ozzy's guitar virtuoso Randy Rhodes, who would die in a plane crash a few months later.

The set-list wasn't available, but you can bet staples like Crazy Train, Paranoid, and Mr. Crowley were in there!
