Two New Yorkers Set a Richmond, Maine House on Fire
Steve McCausland, Maine State Public Information Officer, released a statement regarding a recent drug-related incident in Richmond, Maine.
Motivated by collecting drug money debt, two individuals came arrived in Portland and took a taxi to a home in Richmond where they proceed to douse a vehicle and part of a home in gasoline. Two occupants of the house, a woman and her daughter, got out unharmed.
The two arsonists were arrested and charged with two counts of arson, burglary, theft, and aggravated trafficking in heroin. One of the occupants of the Richmond the home was arrested on drug charges the day prior.
